Lane County Occupational Wage Data Now Available for 2011

The 2012 Oregon Wage Information publication is now available. It is produced by the Oregon Employment Department, which operates the federal Occupational Employment Statistics program within Oregon.

The 2012 statewide occupational wage data is based on responses from 17,370 Oregon employers and includes wages and salaries during the first quarter of 2012 for over 650 occupations. Tables list the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code and title as well as hourly wages at the 10th percentile, 25th percentile, median, 75th percentile, 90th percentile, and mean. Annual full-time equivalent mean wages are also listed.

Occupational Wages for Lane County
 
The Oregon Wage Information 2012 publication also includes data for Oregon's 15 Workforce Regions. Lane County's (Region 5's) section includes data for 420 occupations collected from 1,970 employers. As Table 1 shows, in Lane County, as in most labor markets, many of the largest occupations are relatively low-paying jobs in the retail and services sectors. There are, however, some large and relatively high-paying occupations in manufacturing, health care, and education.
