Lane County Preliminary 2012 Population Estimates

Preliminary 2012 population estimates from Portland State University's Population Research Center show that Oregon gained 26,110 residents in 2012, an increase of 0.7 percent. Washington County was the fastest-growing county, adding 6,475 for a 1.2 percent increase. Lane County was the 20th fastest growing out of Oregon's 36 counties with a gain of 1,045, or 0.3 percent.

Lane County was the state's fourth most populous county with 354,200 after Multnomah (748,445), Washington (542,845), and Clackamas (381,680).
